Wow yall, alot happening this week.
From trying to workout at altitude (yikes) to Jeremy getting a new job, to me making another mistake at work, this week has run the gamut.
We’re both learning that working out at altitude is quite an adjustment. It’s So hard!
But we’re both persevering and continuing to try to build up. I went for a swim twice and both times it felt like i was swimming through molasses. I did my same routine in a smaller pool and it took longer than in Redmond! We’re hoping we get super fit when go anywhere lower.
I made another mistake at work. I’m so annoyed with myself, but it was literally an extra space that caused a while program to break. Sigh. This is very much not like me and I’m starting to wonder if this is how it is now. Maybe radioactive iodine had messed with something and now I just don’t function on all cylinders.
We’ll, I decided kind of last minute to go on retreat next week. This is the one I’ve done the last couple years in Colorado, I wasn’t going to go with all the changes and moving costs, but the universe aligned. I’m a little apprehensive cause I’m staying in a tent this year since the rooms were booked, but I camp all the time. I know i really need it and am going to be nourished and restored!
Alas, that’s right, you read correctly. Jeremy is now the program manager at the Grief Center in Albuquerque!! He accepted last night and is really excited to get started next Wednesday.
I’m so so proud of him!
Now that we know we’ll be here for a bit, we’ll start to look for more permanent places and a camper when I get back. I’m excited to start to have our future come together. I knew we’d be guided, we just had to be patient.
We also we’ve camping again last weekend up in the Santa fe national forest. We called the campsite Santa fe golden ridge since we got to see so many colors at sunset. And the first Pic is us cheers-ing to Jeremy’s new adventure!
