Appointments at OHSU

Friday,  two days before my appointments that are all 3 hours away,  my insurance calls to tell me that the ct scan in supposed to have will cost me $2600 out of pocket, and if I get it at the facility near us,  it’s $400.

Well.

That would have been helpful information a month ago!

Alas,  I’ve canceled that appt and will have to remake it in bend,  but today I’m still seeing the endocrinologist and having am ultrasound today at OHSU.

We spent a lovely weekend with our friends from Seattle in Carlton,  Oregon in the Willamette wine region.  My body is definitely feeling the effects of a couple wine tastings both days this weekend,  and it was so much fun and a very nice distraction!

We even brought mckenzie and she did so well in the new place and with our friends! It gave us a little bit of relief as she has been having alot of anxiety with all of the house and stuff selling that has been happening. Hopefully she’ll settle into wherever or new place ends up.

Last weekend,  we took what was probably one of our last camping trips in Oregon and it didn’t disappoint.  Above Sisters, Oregon,  the mountains loomed close overhead and we did a great hike. We ran into snow,  which made Mckenzie happy.

The earth reminded us to trust ourselves and know that we are adaptable people and whatever happens, happens.  As long as we’re together,  I know we’ll get through. Our house is still under contract, and the option period ends tomorrow but they found something that could mean our puppies have a leak so a plumber is coming over tomorrow.  Fingers crossed that everything is fine.

I’ll update once I have the results of all these appointments. Deep breaths in the meantime.

Tina Tumor is hopefully staying away.

Here’s some pics from last weekend.

And this weekend!
