Radioactive woes

This is a doozy yall.

I got home yesterday and was completely wiped,  but I think it was more from all the stress around this nonsense than the actual pill itself.

Today I woke up pretty sore and achey. My jaw also hurt like crazy.  They had told me it would effect my salivary glands but I didn’t that I understood what that meant. It’s like everything you eat is super sour and giving you that weird feeling in the place where your jaw meets your face,  even though nothing I eat is sour!

Nausea kicked in shortly before breakfast. Then started to feel flu achey. I didn’t have a fever but hurt all over.

Eh. I’m definitely feeling a little better now, but it was a rough day.  I talked to my doctor and she says these aren’t typical side effects,  but because I got a hefty dose and I’m petite anyway,  as long as I start getting better,  there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. She said it should get better as it leaves my my system.

So that was a relief. I’m hopeful that with a good night’s sleep, I’ll feel better tomorrow.

In other news,  I got misbilled from the hospital.  My work is already working on it,  cause this happens pretty often,  but my portion alone was 30k!!

The entire surgery cost around 240k.

Ooph. Medical debt in this country is real. And it’s unfair. I’m just so grateful that having this medical issue didn’t cost me my savings.
